The Experience

Embrace the invigorating wild sauna cycle at Mount Edgecumbe. Begin by stepping into the wood-fired sauna, where temperatures typically reach a comfortable range of 70-90 degrees. Allow the heat to gently work its magic, releasing tension and promoting deep relaxation. Once fully warmed, take a refreshing plunge in the nearby sea. This invigorating contrast will leave you feeling rejuvenated and revitalised. Finally, retreat to our designated relaxation area, where you can unwind on comfortable chairs and soak in the serenity of nature.

What to expect

At Motts Mount Edgcumbe, we prioritise an experience that gets you straight to the heart of the wild sauna experience. While we don’t have dedicated changing facilities on-site, the natural beauty surrounding the sauna provides a unique and tranquil setting. We have hooks and a covered area for your belongings (to be used at your discretion, although these will be safe as the sauna host is always around!) Please bring: swimwear, towel, plenty of drinking water and, if you plan to swim, we recommend plastic shoes as the beach is quite rocky.
