Motts Portwrinkle

Coastal serenity escape

Motts Portwrinkle

We have teamed up with the gorgeous Silas cove cafe in Portwrinkle for a series of warm sauna with great views, sea dips and delicious food just next door. After enjoying your relaxing sauna pop into the cafe for some nourishing food a coffee or a beer!

The setting is absolutely perfect for enjoying some cosy sauna time with a view, and easy access to the beach to connect to the wild waves and take a cold and invigorating dip. To access the beach there is a short 100 metre walk. But if this feels to far, you can use our cold plunge, and experience wonderful rounds of steamy heat and bracing cold while you enjoy the view across the bay.

So get your buddies together, choose your sauna time, and give yourselves a weekly treat through these old dark months. You will leave Motts feeling wonderful, satisfied mind body and soul.

The Sauna

Our handcrafted wood-fired sauna at Portwrinkle comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, offering ample space to relax and unwind. Inside, the natural wood walls create a warm and inviting atmosphere, while large windows allow you to soak in the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

The Experience

Embrace the invigorating wild sauna cycle at Portwrinkle. You’re welcome to start your session with a refreshing sea dip before your sauna time begins, making the most of your visit since it’s just a short stroll between the sauna and the shoreline.

Step into the wood-fired sauna, where temperatures typically reach a comfortable 70–90 degrees, allowing the heat to gently release tension and promote deep relaxation. Between rounds, take another dip in the sea or simply relax beside the sauna in a deck chair, enjoying the cool air on your skin before warming up again.

What to expect

At Motts Portwrinkle, we prioritise an experience that gets you straight to the heart of the wild sauna experience.
