One to One healing

Deepening relationship to mind body and spirit

Deepening relationship to mind body and spirit and understanding what we believe, think and feel.

At Motts sauna we are supported by nature the other than human and the unseen mysteries. That have our backs. So it’s the perfect setting to come for one to one sessions.

The sessions in this space might be for you if you feel disconnected from your body or nature and/or love being in your body and in nature and want to connect more deeply to this.

You might be challenged by some difficult or upsetting life events that you would love to have space to unpack in a gentle supportive space. Maybe you are struggling with a time of change, transition or loss, and would like to feel grounded and supported.

You might be wanting to increase your relaxation and self care and are looking for a beautiful space in which to do this.

The Sauna

The sauna and all the other lovely things we offer here are in relationship to the land the seasons and the elements. There are so many ways we can slow down, tune in, let go, process and just be. Come and interact with what is all around us in this beautiful space, and see for yourself

The Experience

I offer one to one sessions, as a series, or just a one-off session. So you can just dip a toe into this space, or dive in fully. The sessions are held in the sauna, in conversation, and outside in nature, in the woods, meadow or stream, you decide. We will work together within a safe co-created space, bringing our curiosity and self-compassion to whetever wants to be seen and unpacked during the session. We will
be exploring together using ritual, art, embodied experiential knowing, meditation, wild therapy and hot and cold therapy.

I can also offer sessions for couples friends or small groups.

If you would like to have an informal conversation to see if this way of working in nature is for you, I would love to hear from you and we can have a conversation to see if we are a good fit to work together.

Background and training

I have a Bsc from kings college London and qualified the same year as an adult nurse – I worked as a community nurse for 17 years, looking after the physical and mental health of house bound patients and their families.

When I moved on from nursing, I set up a community food and health CIC which worked with volunteers to rescue surplus food and repurpose it as community meals to those living in poverty, in social isolation and managing very debilitating mental and physical health and wellbeing challenges. I helped individuals build confidence health and community through this work and supported individuals to overcome some of the things that were holding them back and keeping them disempowered and unwell.

More recently sauna culture hot and cold therapy and wild therapy has found me and has been a catalyst in my own healing. I am a level 2 Lithuanian Pirtis sauna master, a qualified Morning Alters creative ritual facilitator and a wild therapies Practitioner.

Through these modalities and drawing on the 28 years experience I have in caring for peoples health well being we can work together on areas of your life that need your attention, to bring more peace love and healing to you, and the world.
