Celebrations
The sauna is a perfect place to celebrate, and get your friends together, whether it’s a stag, hen, post wedding get together, birthday celebration or reunion, we can host you and your group at Motts whatever the occasion.
Restore and relax after the party, get ready for the party or make this the party. The sauna will be the main event!
This gorgeous offering includes two hours exclusive use of a beautiful wood fired sauna, with aromatherapy alt body scrubs and cold plunge, and a fire bowl in nature to enjoy after your sauna.
£200 for up to 10 people

Optional extras
- Yoga, sound journey, breath journey: enjoy an hour of relaxing yoga, sound healing or breathwork in the open air or in our woodland yurt. This is perfectly paired with the sauna when your muscles are warm and you’ve had a chance to chat and connect while you sweat. After yoga you can enjoy the fire bowl with a drink and some food. Price on enquiry.
- Sauna ritual: let us take you on an immersive journey in the sauna, you will be nourished and invigorated by several guided rounds of sauna and cold water, steam, plant whisks, essential oils. Package price + £100.
- Cream tea:
Scones, jam cream, tea £7 with prosecco £10.
Coffee and pastry £7 with a bloody mary £10.
wellbeing collaborations
We love to work alongside wellbeing and health and fitness practitioners and teachers. If you like what we do, and would like to collaborate with us to co-create a lovely event or retreat then please get in touch.
We have two saunas and are based in South East Cornwall. We work in several locations so lets chat and see what will work for you. Prices for the sauna for one hour exclusive use is between £60 and £100. Prices vary depending on the size of the sauna and how many people are booked to attend.
Menheniot sauna 1 – A 1 hour private booking is £100 for 8 or 10 people in. If you have not sold all the spaces for your event but still want to go ahead rather than cancel we can discuss a price reduction for the sauna hire.
To book the sauna for 1½ hours for a larger group to flow in and out of the sauna and enjoy chatting, cold dips and the environment, it is £150. If you choose this longer session you can have a larger group of up to 15 people.
Hot Tub – £100 to hire alongside your sauna session.
Sauna 2 – This sauna seats up to 7 people and is £75 for an hours exclusive hire. This sauna is currently at Portwrinkle next to a lovely café and with easy access to the beach. Think beach yoga, breathwork and nature connection, followed by a gorgeous sauna and then a meal and drinks at Silas cove café!
Food and catering
We can also offer catering for your events. Please get in touch with us to talk about what you would like to offer and how we can help.
Simple lunches start at £10 per person. Cakes and cream teas Start at £3 per person. Herb tea is always available and complimentary.
Our saunas are in the open air with indoor space covered outdoor kitchen and seating area and a cosy Mongolian Yurt. We cannot account for the weather. This is a nature experience and we hope you will enjoy embracing the great out doors in all its glory.
If you have booked the Motts space and sauna for your event, you may be using the space to relax, exercise, eat and talk etc. before or after the sauna session. At this time other people may be in the space
using the sauna unless we have agreed exclusive hire for the duration of the event.
Sometimes our saunas are located in public places where the general public may be sharing the space with us, their children, dogs and footballs! Please be understanding of this and allow for some unexpected interruptions on the odd occasion.
Prices and info for hiring the space at Motts Menheniot
We offer a beautiful quiet, indoor/outdoor space in nature, where you can relax,
recharge, run events, host gatherings, classes and small parties.

£15 an hour up to two hours.
£50 for up to four hours.
£100 for up to eight hours.
£140 for up to twelve hours.
These prices are for up to 20 people including those running your event. If your group is bigger than 20 people please be in touch to discuss your particular requirements.
you will have access to...
A cosy 6.5 metre yurt with wood burner, which can seat 20 people, or 12 people doing
yoga or sound bath etc.
A covered marquee area with tables and seating for 20 people, and a gas hob and
work surface with basic kitchen equipment.
An outdoor fire space.
Flushing toilet and hot shower.
Parking for 10 cars.
There is electric lights in the yurt, marquee, toilet/shower and in the outdoor spaces.
There is access to beautiful meadows and a stream.
Food and Catering
By arrangement we can provide food for your event, prices start at £10 per person for soup and bread fruit and tea, or cake and snacks, or a continental breakfast. Other food options are available and will be priced depending on requirements.
You are also welcome to cater your event yourself, bring food to warm up or have a picnic.
Sauna
We can also run our beautiful wood fired sauna and hot tub during your event. Prices start at £100 for an hour. We can also offer longer sessions, one to one sessions and sauna rituals.
To camp by arrangement
£10 per person per night in your own tents.
£20 per person per night in the yurt with bring your own camp beds and bedding.
£10 per campervan per night (no electric hook up).
£5 large trug of wood.
The space is also available to hire for longer periods. The investment depends on the length of time and the amount of people and what you are offering. These more bespoke packages can be discussed and priced individually.
Deposit and cancellation policy
50% of the fee to be paid at the time of the booking. The remaining fee to be paid on or before the day of the event.If you need to cancel your booking you can reschedule the date at another time to suit us both. If you cancel in between paying the deposit and the date of the booking and choose not to rebook, we keep the deposit.
